I went to the show this past summer and had a blast! It was entertaining all the way through and brought lots of laughs. We are planning my best friend’s bachelorette party for April and are planning to attend the show again! Definitely recommend it!

I was just up there this new years eve and had a heck of a time finding it, so I asked a local… he said the tribe did in fact buy it. Gate is up, and I can see why the natives want their land back, it is a beautiful area. It still would be nice if they allowed people to check it out whether or not a business is present

Just attended the adault show last night.. Some friends had tickets and invited me to go along. It was a great time, both the comedy and hypotism show were great, in my opinion, as well as those of the group i went there with. I thought the staff was very friendly. As was already said in the comment above mine, the party after the show was a great time as well. Honestly i havent been in the presence of such a friendly and fun group of people in quite some time. Looking forward to doing this again!

When we were stationed in Germany, we had dozens of small plastic flat little tiles that were called bullybachs. We didn’t know these were actually caps or cap inserts were from Bullybach Beer until we were adults. We had a hundred games played by throwing these pieces against the wall. There were several colors and symbols. Sadly we did not return to the US with any bullybachs. We have looked in flea markets and antique stores for 50 years without success. We would love to hear from anyone who has any.

I ATTENDED THE ADULT SHOWS ONCE WITH MY FRIEND AND HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME THAT I WENT BACK WITH MY HUSBAND AND WE HAD A GREAT TIME AT THE SHOW AND THE AFTERPARTY AT THE BAR AND ENJOYED THE MUSIC. PLANNING TO RETURN WITH OTHER FRIENDS…..IT WAS WORTH THE 3 HOUR DRIVE FROM HOME…

Everyone is a blogger and allowed to speak their opinion thanks to the internet which sometimes is a good thing or a bad thing. On the behalf of the Wild 4 Hypnosis Show – I would like to speak my opinion… There seems to be a lable that goes with some people. People come into a comedy club and anticipate they are the main attraction either by heckling, being loud, or displaying offensive behaviour. . Our staff keeps an eye on unrulely patrons and does on occassion have to escort them out so the others around them can still enjoy the show. This happens very infrequently but when it does the unrulely patron finds they have to trash the show on every site possible. I wish the other people on show night would make their comments well known but they do this by returning to the show time after time. The Wild 4 Hypnosis Adult Comedy Show is sold out most Saturday Nights. Just keep in mind ..This show has been in WI DELLS for 6 years and growning every single year.

Yesterday (9-4), I attended a family get=to-gether and the subject came up as to what was our favorite beer. Proudly, I said Leinenkugel especially the sampler 6-pack. Without batting an eyelash, one of family members stated, “Well you know that Leienkugel is owned by Miller Brewery. I felt like I was hit by a telephone pole and screamed “no way”. Rather than continue into a rather heated argument, we just dropped the subject and made peace. Now I’m wondering – Is he right? PLEASE make my day. THANKS

BEAVER SPRINGS NEEDS TO BE CLOSED ASAP! THE PLACE IS GROSS, DIRTY, SMELLY! I WAS AFRAID TO BREATHE! NO JOKE! DO NOT GO THERE! I WISH SOMEONE WOULD HAVE WARNED ME! The male left after we gave him our money and he did not come back. We were inside the cracker box all by ourselves. I’m glad it was light outside. It would have been real scary. I almost felt ill on the way home after breathing the bad air inside. BEWARE!! IS RIGHT!!

Just tried “Big Eddy”. It`s great. Years ago in occupied Germany I enjoyed Bullybach. It was a truley good beer , especially with a pizza at the
Capri in Wiesbaden.

Maybe you should try to duplicate it. That would make my day. We were the Cold War Warriors your parents never heard of.

It’s to bad they have to get rid of history! There was so much to see and do in the area. It would be nice if someone could buy these places and fix them the way they were in their day. My husband would love to bring my son there!

I read a story that a couple from North Carolina were in negotiations to buy this place. It was sold to an Indian Tribe. The couple was asking for money donations to purchase the place and/or artifacts to decorate it once they bought it (which when interviewed, Gudrun Casper made it sound as if they were going to be the purchasers). Did anyone send them any money? Did they return the money they received? Sounds like they took the money and ran.

The Couderay location is closed. There are other Al Capone restaurants that are in other cities. Make sure you know what restaurant you are calling. The Couderay location has been closed for 1-2 years now and was in quite disrepair before it closed.

My family tried to visit last weekend 10th July 2010 but said it was closed, and certainly did not look like opening any time soon. Perhaps this notice that it is now open is a mistake. Perhaps they had intended opening but not able to get ready in time. Unfortunately we will have to find another restaurant for our large family visit!! Very disappointing. Even if it was open would not be the same without all the artefacts and house visit.

Save your money. They told us the 2 shows lasted a total of 20 to 25 minutes. However in 10 minutes we were walking out of the theatre. The movies were boring and too short for the price. The poke in the back actually hurt. Sit way forward in your seat if you don’t want poked.

The Broadway Dinner Theater has closed down at the end of May. No one contacted us about the closure. When we arrived last Friday for the 6:00 dinner, the doors were locked and there were no signs posted. Now we are trying to get a refund through our credit card company

I have visited many times in the past, over a number of years, whilst on vacation from London, England and staying with family who have a trailer at a nearby lake. Will be visiting again in August 2010 and do hope someone gets this wonderful restaurant going again. The food and atmosphere was always great, and was the highlight of my visit to that area. Do hope we are going to be in luck!!

My memories of Land O’Lakes include going to a restaurant called Tia Juana, which apparently specialized not in Mexican food but in ribs that required a bib (I was 9 when I last went).
Also used to be a place called Barefoot Charlies, but I remember even less about that.

Beaver Springs Fishing Park is a tourist trap pure and simple! Any potential patron will have the experience Michelle M. describes and will be into them for over $100 in about 8 minutes flat. They have backyard size ponds FULL of fish – drop your line in and you’ve got one that you’re paying for….and just try telling your kids to STOP! AWFUL experience and set up to take advantage of YOU – the unsuspecting tourist trying to have some good family fun. BEWARE!

I had the pleasure of touring Ten-C. on Sat. Sept.5th this past weekend. I can not tell you how enjoyable and educational it was. Our tour quides Nora and Bonnie were highly informed and knowledgeable about the history of the area, the estate and all the people involved in the history, starting with the famous couple themselves. The people who have restored and maintained this historical site have done an AMAZING job and I wish them continued success. This place is a joke. After catching 3 small fish, and 3 medium sized fish, we were told that our medium sized fish were "jumbo-sized" and it was an extra charge. We also were told to catch 3 more fish…that just added to the total of $167. We paid $1.50 for ice which were 3 frozen water bottles. This place is a rip-off and I’m actually embarassed for this website to even have them on here as an attraction. I will be sending them a letter asking for a refund…I will keep you posted.

I was just past the former site of “the hideway”. I am pretty sure it is goe for good. The huge sign on highway CC pointing down the driveway is nothing but two tall utility poles with a “AAA recommeded” sign on top. All of the signs concerning the hideway are gone. Also no mention of it in the Hayward summer happenings as there always was. Maybe they were closed due to tax evasion!!!

Went to see it 2 years ago, it was great & the food was so good & drinks also. Went to see Public Enemy & wanted to take my son & his wife up there. I thought it was so interesting. Sorry to hear it is shut down. What a shame, couldn’t some gangster reopen itLOL

I was just up in that area June 21 and after some extensive looking found Al Capones hideaway. I was closed for the season. So if you looking to go there it will not happen. I was very disappointed!! I was very anxious to go there and it was closed. Bummer Even tried calling the phone number and could not get through.
