If you’re looking for fun for the whole family, you won’t find much better than Lodge at Cedar Creek in Wausau, Wisconsin. With a waterpark that is 50,000 square feet, and the largest of its kind in Northern Wisconsin, the lodge is pretty impressive as well with 140 family-sizes suites and a heated outdoor pavilion for holding meetings, weddings, and other large events. It’s the perfect getaway for your whole family.

The waterpark rides will thrill people of all ages with the Cedar Creek Tree House, with an 800 gallon tipping bucket, being its main attraction. There are also two snaking water slides, splashdown pools, a massive tube and plunge slide, activity pool with basketball and floating logs, an island with moose and deer, a campsite island, whirlpools where children are allowed and where they aren’t, and a children’s play area, complete with zero-depth pool area. Weekend day passes are available for $15.95 if you’re over 48 inches tall, and $7.95 if you’re under that. Weekday passes cost $10.95 and $7.95 respectively. Group rates are also offered, starting at twenty people or more.

When not using the waterpark, although with its grand size, it’s hard to imagine when you wouldn’t be, there is a game room for kids to enjoy some dry fun, and win tickets that are redeemable for great prizes. Across the street from the Lodge, adults will enjoy the JIM Fitness Center with cardio and circuit equipment, along with free weights and locker rooms. The Saw Mill Grill offers delectable family dining with steaks, seafood, pasta, and sandwiches, while the Buzz Saw Bear offers the same family dining in a more relaxed atmosphere. The Sugar Maple Gift Shop offers snacks, Starbucks coffee, and, of course, souvenirs to remember your time spent at Lodge at Cedar Creek.

All the rooms in the lodge are family-sized suites, 140 in all. The sizes of these suites range from a double queen all the way through a three bedroom suite. The prices range from $99 to $399. Wireless internet is provided free in each suite, along with wet bars and water passes. Some suites have whirlpools as well. All beds are queen sized or larger, along with being no smoking, for the ultimate comfort for your whole family. Handicapped accessible rooms are available upon request.

Lodge at Cedar Creek offers many different specials to find the best affordable rate for you.
